About the Author

Originally from Michigan, I graduated with an unremarkable (and mostly unmarketable) B.A. in English from the University of Michigan.

For some reason, this arts degree meant it was time to get into the telecom industry. I was hired as a phone monkey at a local ISP, and I’ve been in telecom/IT ever since, although I’ve changed positions, titles, and locations several times.

In 2005, I married a wonderful woman and we’re currently living in Colorado. Right now, I’m looking for a job as a system administrator or network engineer, or I could just become the next Great American Novelist. Well, not right now; right now I’m editing a blog entry.
